Education in Cambodia during COVID-19
The outbreak of COVID-19 has been greatly disrupting the education sector in Cambodia. Educational institutions ranging from pre-school to higher education levels remain physically closed and have been compelled to abruptly shift from face-to-face teaching to online teaching in order to ensure the continuity of students’ education. While online learning seems to be the best means, many unprecedented consequences have emerged, creating concern, frustration and skepticism on the effectiveness of the implementation of online teaching and learning among various stakeholders.
Against this background, Cambodian Education Forum, with an ambition and commitment to promote research and publication in Cambodia, is inviting contributions of short opinion or research articles from various stakeholders, including policymakers, researchers, teachers, administrators, students and parents in order to share their experiences, best practices, stories, opinions, and concerns with regard to “Education in Cambodia during COVID-19”. These short articles will shed light on how COVID-19 has been affecting our education sector, how we have been dealing with it and what we should do moving forward.

Note: While we are calling for essays or short articles that focus on the above theme, we also welcome other short education-related articles that may not be related to COVID-19.
